About Us
I started Judith Oliver Physiotherapy in 2003, when I looked to the private sector to expand my horizon and ability beyond that of the NHS. I am a physiotherapist with over 35 years’ experience specialising in musculoskeletal, neurological, paediatric and community experience.
Judith Oliver
I have worked in private practice, occupational health Physiotherapy with a wide experience as a GP practice Physiotherapist for 16 years. Prior to this I had a long and varied career in the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal conditions for 15 years, and 10 years in Neurology, Rehabilitation and Paediatrics.
I Graduated from Coventry School of Physiotherapy in 1979. Worked in Leeds, Manchester and Tanzania before settling in the North East with my husband.

Ian Oliver
After returning from Tanzania where he worked for an aid agency as a veterinary officer. To study in Paddington and graduated in 1991 as an Orthotist. Following 20 years working for many local and multi-national companies in Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Leicester and gaining a management diploma and teaching qualification.
In January 2010 Ian then started the Olive Tree Orthotic service, working in the private practice and as a locum for the NHS and National companies. Where Ian work for various companies as a locum in the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East.

In 2015 we merged to form Allied Physiotherapy and Orthotic Service together, as our individual companies and skills complemented each other. We built our new premises in a village setting and we have developed a comprehensive service for this area of County Durham.
